The Cyberinfrastructure Core, managed by JAX’s Information Technology Research IT group, provides computing systems, data storage systems, data repositories, and visualization environments to JAX researchers to facilitate innovation and discovery.
Our initial service offerings are (1) providing excess storage capacity to JAX faculty in our on-premise research computing environment and (2) providing a mechanism for JAX faculty and Scientific Services to utilize the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of their research initiatives.
Cyberinfrastructure core members are also available to meet with clients and help develop plans and financial models for projects requiring significant research computing resources.
